- The Bill proposes to:
- Require written contracts, statutorily required disclosures of obligations and responsibilities.
- Prohibit up front fees, acquiring security interest in client’s property, charging interest in excess of 8%;
- Provides for civil, criminal and administrative remedies
- The bill would exempt attorneys from regulation.
