Idaho Loan Modification Laws

  1.  Idaho moderately regulates foreclosure consultants under the Consumer Foreclosure Protection Act; 45 Idaho Code, Chapter 15 (see http://www3.state.id.us/oasis/S1431.html, passed into law 3/08).
  2.  The State requires that all contracts related to property subject to foreclosure be in writing and that there is a 5-day grace period for rescission.
  3. Idaho does not provide exclusion for attorneys.
